Prevost Signs Deal With Ceol Entertainment Australia
Codie Prevost has just signed a deal with Ceol Entertainment in Australia. Now whenever Prevost ventures to the land down under, Ceol will represent Prevost and his career. Prevost recently finished his first Australian tour, during which time he released his first Australian single “All Kinds of Crazy.” The song debuted at #14 on the most downloaded songs list in Australia, Ceol Entertainment is now working hard to get Prevost’s music to new country music fans in Australia and New Zealand and book his next Australian tour.
Ryan Anderson, of Anderson Productions set up Prevost’s first Australian tour, which put Prevost on the Southern map and got him introduced to the team at Ceol Entertainment. 15 shows in 18 days is a lot of work for anybody, but Prevost and his crew rocked them all, including the Toyota Main Stage at the Tamworth Country Music Festival.
“I am thrilled to be working with Ceol Entertainment in Australia and New Zealand. It is an opportunity to spread my music to country music fans in a new part of the world and expand my career. From the moment I walked into Ceol’s office in Brisbane I was so impressed with the positivity and support shown by the whole team. I know working together we will achieve many goals!” Says Prevost.
Ceol is an entertainment company with global reach. They represent a large family of talented musicians, and they are excited to add Prevost to their roster. According to their website, “Recently we have extended our reach by opening a full time office in Melbourne and maintaining a presence in Nashville, USA. We have since created partnerships with International companies and artists allowing us now to provide opportunities on an International level for Australian artists in addition to international artist down under.
“We are looking forward to delivering Codie’s music and show down here. We never went out to sign a Canadian artist but from the first listen of his music and his live shows there was no question we wanted to work with him. His current album is one of the best balanced albums by an independent artist I’ve heard in a long time and its apparent live why Codie has won consecutive "Entertainer Of The Year" awards back home" said Ceol’s director Matt McCormick.
Jamie Santilli the company’s artist business manager said “Aussie fans have a natural attraction to Codie, he’s down to earth approachable and amazingly talented. I’m excited to have him on board”.
