Prevost Honoured By The Saskatchewan Country Music Association.


The Saskatchewan Country Music Association has inducted country music artist Codie Prevost into the Saskatchewan Country Music Association Awards Hall Of Fame in the “Male Vocalist Of The Year” and “Entertainer Of The Year” award categories! New for 2018 if an artist receives an SCMA award 5 or more times, in the past, in one specific category that they are inducted into the SCMA Awards Hall of Fame for that category. Once an artist is inducted into the categories Hall of Fame they will not be eligible for that category but can be nominated in other SCMA award categories.

Prevost is a 26-time Saskatchewan Country Music Award recipient and is nominated at the 2018 Saskatchewan Country Music Awards show April 28th in Prince Albert Saskatchewan. Prevost is nominated for “Single Of The Year” & “Song Of The Year” for his song “You Won’t Sleep Tonight” and is also nominated for “Interactive Artist Of The Year”.

“Joining the “Saskatchewan Country Music Association” when I was starting my career gave me so many opportunities including performing with a band for the first time, getting introduced to industry professionals, and also the honour of being nominated and receiving SCMA Awards.” reflects Prevost “I’m honoured to have been inducted into the Saskatchewan Country Music Association Hall Of Fame in the “Male Vocalist Of The Year” and “Entertainer Of The Year” award categories and feel truly blessed to be a part of the Saskatchewan Country Music Association family.

The 29th Annual SCMA Awards Weekend & Country Music Festival will be held from April 27th-29th in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.

Prevost recently released his 5th studio album "RADIO".
